Philippe Limoge studied music at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and played drums in jazz bands. His numerous encounters have led him to travel through contemporary music (P. Boulez, P. eötvös…), jazz (F. Tortiller, A. Emler, K. Chemirani…) and chamber music (Les sœurs Labèque, M. Becquet….). He won the Gaudeamus Competition (Holland) and 2nd Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand International Vibraphone Competition.

    In 2004, he founded Percuduo with Damien Petitjean. His concerts and masterclasses have led him to perform in France (Festival Radio France, Aujourd’hui musique, Perkumania, Festival d’Avignon, Flaneries de Reims, Cuivres en fête, etc.) and abroad (Japan, Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, England, Holland, Luxembourg, etc.). He is the author of works published by Billaudot. His discography includes a dozen CDs ranging from solo to large ensemble.
